Cathy Banks Andersen My Angel Cathy Banks Andersen born July 21, 1950 to Carl Glen Banks and Patricia Gustovson passed away January 28, 2007 after a struggle with diabetes.

Cathy attended and played sports at the University of Utah. The family joked at her love of watching games by saying "it was her job." She was a wonderful wife to Norman for 37 years, a magnificent mother of Erik and Allen, and a perfect grandmother of eight. She lived for and spoiled her grandchildren who consider her their best friend and will miss her dearly. She enjoyed watching them play and giving them rides on her scooter. Her deep love and friendship to Norman never ceased and they loved just being with each other. She loved the Lord and served him with all she had. Her charitable heart and a listening ear formed bonds of unconditional love and acceptance with everyone.

She is survived by Norman, Erik, Allen, mother Patricia Banks, and siblings Steve, Carol and Gail. Funeral services will be Friday 11 a.m. at her LDS ward, 11251 S. 2700 W. Visitations Thursday 6-8 p.m. at Broomhead Funeral - 12600 South 2200 West.
